1) Guest Identification (Mandatory)

Valid ID proof is compulsory for all adult guests at the time of check-in.

Accepted ID proofs: Aadhaar Card / Driving Licence (original or digital copy).

PAN Card is not accepted as a valid check-in ID.
-
Check-in may be denied if valid ID proof is not provided.
2) Check-in / Check-out Timings

Check-in: 2:00 PM (Noon)

Check-out: 12:00 PM
-
Early check-in / late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Guests are requested to inform us in advance about their arrival time for smooth check-in.
3) Occupancy Policy

Maximum occupancy: 2 adults per room.

Child stay: A child can stay with parents/guardians (as per room comfort and safety).
-
Extra bedding: On request, one single mattress can be provided (subject to availability and applicable charges if any).

For group bookings, please contact us in advance for the best room allocation.
4) Breakfast Policy

Complimentary breakfast is provided in authentic Coorg style (served during scheduled breakfast timings).

Please inform us in advance about any dietary preferences or allergies (best effort basis).
5) Kitchen & Food Rules
To maintain hygiene and respect all guests’ comfort:

No non-vegetarian cooking in the common kitchen.

A separate kitchen/arrangement is available for non-veg cooking (only with prior request and guidance from the host/team).

Outside food is allowed only upon request (to maintain cleanliness and pest control).
-
Please keep the kitchen tidy after use: wash utensils, wipe surfaces, and dispose waste properly.
6) Alcohol & Smoking Policy

Alcohol is strictly not allowed on the property.
-
Smoking is not permitted inside rooms or indoor common areas.
-
If smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas (if any), please use proper disposal and do not litter.
7) Bonfire Policy

Bonfire is available only on request.
-
Bonfire will be arranged with additional charges.
-
Bonfire is subject to weather conditions and local safety requirements.

Guests must follow staff instructions for safety at all times.
8) Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed at Colonial Canopy.
9) Visitors Policy

Only registered guests are permitted inside the property.
-
Outside visitors are not allowed without prior permission from the management.
10) Quiet Hours & Guest Conduct
Colonial Canopy is a peaceful nature stay. Please help us maintain the calm:

Keep music and noise to a minimum, especially during quiet hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Please avoid loud gatherings, shouting, or playing music on high volume.
-
Respect other guests’ privacy and personal space.
11) Safety & Property Care

Guests are responsible for the safety of their belongings. Please keep valuables secure.
-
Kindly switch off lights/fans/heaters when not in use.
-
Do not move furniture or remove property items from rooms/common areas.
-
Any damage/breakage to property, fixtures, linens, or appliances may be chargeable.
12) Cleanliness & Waste Disposal

Please keep rooms and common areas clean.
-
Use dustbins provided. Avoid littering in the forest/plantation areas.
-
Do not throw sanitary waste, wipes, or plastic into toilets/drains to prevent blockage.
13) Fireplaces & Fire Safety (Important)
-
Fireplaces (in-room/common) must be used responsibly.
-
Do not leave fire unattended.
-
Keep flammable items away from fire zones.
-
Children must be supervised near fireplaces, bonfires, and hot surfaces at all times.
14) Local Environment Respect
Colonial Canopy is surrounded by nature and plantation life:

Do not disturb wildlife or pluck plants/flowers.
-
Avoid loud noise in outdoor areas at night.
-
Please follow designated paths and guidance during plantation walks.
15) Cancellation / Refund Policy
-
Cancellation and refund terms will be as per your booking channel / confirmation message.
-
For direct bookings, cancellation terms will be shared at the time of confirmation.
16) Management Rights
-
Management reserves the right to refuse service or request guests to vacate the premises if house rules are violated, or if behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or illegal.

No refund will be applicable in such cases.
